The Grifters, fronted by the big voice of songwriter Bernie Griffen, are a five piece Auckland band established in 2010.
They combine elements of folk, alternative and country, R&B and a variety of string band instruments with wild lead guitar to produce a sound somewhere between Velvet Underground and Johnny Cash
