In Elfenland, young elves must pass a very special test to be accepted as
grown-ups. All young elves receive a map of Elfenland, and they try to visit all
the towns in Elfenland, using the common types of transportation: dragons,
unicorns, giant pigs, elfcycles, troll wagons, magic clouds, ferries and rafts.
These types of transportation are available in limited numbers and can only be
used in specific regions. The one to visit the most towns wins the game!
Each turn, each player gets a number of cards and a number of tokens, each
matching forms of transportation. The players first then take turns placing
transportation tokens on roads (thereby defining what form of transportation is
the only one that can be used on that particular road this turn), and finally
playing their cards trying to move according to the tokens on the road to
collect as many cities each turn as possible.
Players need both to try to make a usable token path for themselves, while
trying to stop other players from getting where they want.
