Inception Blu Ray

I love these recent additions to the line of Blu-Ray movies. The combo pack is the future of Blu-Ray as it includes a copy of the movies in Blu-Ray, DVD, and also a digital copy. Why waste money of a DVD copy when you can get this?

Anyway onto the movie. Inception is what I would call a intense and confusing movie. Two watches are required to fully enjoy the narrative of this movie as there are details that first-watchers will not notice.

Essentially, Inception is a heist movie with a twist on reality, where the heist occurs in the dream.

Saying any more would be saying too much.

I urge you to watch it

The movie itself was brilliant, of course. The idea of putting it in a combo pack of DVD and Bluray is brilliant as well. Gives me something to look forward to when I finally upgrade.

This film is a great thrill ride with an original concept that is a must for all action goers and sci-fi viewers alike.
If you haven't picked this pack up already i highly recommend it, with great features like extraction mode and the 5.1 musical score for your listening pleasure it's a great pack to add to your collection.

Anybody who has watched a Christopher Nolan movie will know what a ride you will be in for with Inception. Sit back and enjoy.

Most of the highly rated films in the Sci-Fi/Fantasy genre succeed because they deliver based on your expectations for the genre.
Then there's Inception.
Inception doesn't quite stick to the tried and true formula. It surprises you. Not only is it thought provoking, it thoroughly entertains you and exceeds all expectations. It's 2 1/2 hr running time does not drag one bit and I found myself fully engaged from start to finish. Yes, you have to pay attention but there is no attempt here to try and fool or confuse you. The multi layered plot flows logically but I have no doubt that multiple viewings would help solidify ones understanding of the film. The special effects are a treat. You won't have seen effects like these before and instead of becoming the film's main attraction, they compliment the story beautifully without taking anything away from excellent character development and a really engaging, smart story.
Is it a perfect film? Nope, but it's pretty darn close.
A personal gripe?…like many films in this genre, the attempt to leave you with a potentially uncertain ending (or is it!) wasn't really necessary here and in my opinion a little annoying, the pace was also really quite fast but both issues were perhaps part of the design to encourage multiple viewings......i'll certainly be doing that!

Great cast, excellent direction, intelligent, engaging story and clever use of special effects…like I said, pretty darn close to being the perfect film.
