Description

A tough U.S. Marshall helps a stubborn young woman track down her father ’s murderer. Fourteen-year-old Mattie Ross’s father has been shot in cold blood by the coward Tom Chaney, and she is determined to bring him to justice. Enlisting the help of a trigger-happy, drunken U.S. Marshall, Rooster Cogburn, she sets out with him - over his objections - to hunt down Chaney. Didn't realise this was a Coen brothers film to the end – not as funny as their previous stuff, but an entertaining modern take on westerns. One for the boys and and the girls.
