This film is awesome and makes me wish I was alive in the '60s so bad! I could watch the funny characters and listen to the awesome rock and roll over and over. The critics must be watching a different movie to the one I'm seeing!

The film was a fun romp through some great sounds and an enjoyable emotional and funny rollercoaster. Inspired me to get the soundtrack on Cd and listen again to all those 60s tracks I love.

The Count, a big, brash, American god of the airwaves; Quentin, the boss of Radio Rock -- a pirate radio station in the middle of the North Sea that's populated by an eclectic crew of rock and roll DJs; Gavin, the greatest DJ in Britain who has just returned from his drug tour of America to reclaim his rightful position; Dave, an ironic, intelligent and cruelly funny co-broadcaster; and a fearsome British government official out for blood against the drug takers and lawbreakers of a once-great nation.

You don't have to remember the sixties to love this movie!! Whilst the soundtrack is one of the major highlights, the great comedic performances are what makes this film such a hit with the young and the old, it's a laugh from start to finish, no boring bits!!
