Description

While SG-1 attends the execution of Ba'al, the last of the Goa'uld system lords, Carter, Daniel and Mitchell race back to a world where history has been changed: the Stargate program has been erased from the timeline. "The SG-1 team are out of time."
Following in the fine tradition of Stargate SG-1 out-of-time episodes, this movie explores a new, frightening reality. Old enemies reappear, and as ever, are bent on galactic domination. This time though, they may already have won.
The strong characters in SG-1 have always been the foundation of both the series and the previous straight-to-DVD movie, The Ark of Truth. This movie is no exception. Good character development, a sense of danger, and a solid plot all contribute to the strength of this title. As always in the SG-1 franchise, there is a good mix of visually-appealing CG shots, and solid camera work.
This is another successful and well-executed release from the accomplished SG-1 team.

"Fantastic action-packed flick!"
I wasn't too sure what to expect when I saw Continuum. I'd enjoyed Ark of Truth, but there had been some negative reviews for this movie from die hard fans, so I went into this not expecting to enjoy it. I kind of wish I hadn't read their reviews first, because this movie was fantastic viewing!
Mitchell, Carter and Jackson are returning through the gate because Ba'al is up to his old (though new) tricks in an attempt to stop them from ridding the universe of the Gou'ald once and for all. I loved how, even though things had taken a turn for the worst for the trio, they kept their mind on the ultimate goal (of stopping Ba'al someway, somehow).
It was great seeing old, familiar faces. O'Neill, Apophis, and the rest.
A fantastic, entertaining movie, with lots of action and some fantastic one-liners from the gang. I've since watched this several times since buying it on DVD. Cannot wait to get it on Blu-Ray sometime to really enjoy the experience!

"Enjoyable"
If this the last of SG1, what a shame. For all Stargate fans this is a must with all the unexpected twists and turns. Great to see Jack once again. Shame it was restricted to only 90 minutes.
"Hardcore Stargate"
Time travel, old foes,humour,plot twists,SFX,SG1 at it's best.If the DVD could make me a tasty snack as well ,it would be heaven.
