Description
The 8th feature film from the world of Pokemon!
Ash and his friends arrive at an island town called Rota, where a festival is being held to celebrate Aaron, an ancient hero who averted a war that was about to begin outside of the Tree of the World's Beginning.
At the festival, Ash competes in a tournament to become the ‘Aura Guardian’ for the occasion. As part of the celebration, Ash is granted Aaron's staff, which contains his Pokémon companion, Lucario, whom Aaron had sealed inside the staff before stopping the war.
However, Pikachu is kidnapped by the powerful Mew when an adventurer named Kid attempts to put a tracker on the legendary Pokémon. Ash, with the help of Lucario, follows Mew to the Tree of World's Beginning in an attempt to rescue his friend Pikachu.

This is a great pokemon movie. It is the last with the original cast and they all are at the top of their game. Its very deep, and reminds us why we like Pokemon. The animation is fantastic and it has some amazing 3D shots. You may even find yourself shedding a tear as the plot is very sad at parts.
A definite must if you love Pokemon and also a great way to introduce someone to the franchise.
