"Its in comic form. Not what I thought sadly"

Its like comic book pics that barely move. Not worth buying

"Not on a par with Xmen Evolution"

This was my first Marvel Knights animation, I wasn't sure what to expect, I was hoping for something on par with the Xmen Evolution animated series.
Instead this is a panning view of the comic art while the story is read.
It was done well enough I guess but I'm not a fan of the medium.
The original comic art was done as a static image, presented in relation to the rest of the page, a panning view of it doesn't enhance it.
I love the story, I love Joss' writing, but the dialog you'd write for a comic is not the same as you'd write for a TV show, it didn't work for me.
I'd rather just enjoy the comic in its original format.
