Jane Seymour: Four Feathers & Jamaica Inn

Four Feathers: In leaving his regiment Harry Feversham has dishonoured himself, his comrades and his fiancée, the beautiful Ethne Eustace. In order to retrieve his dignity, self-respect and the love of his life, Harry must first of all travel in disguise to the Sudan uprising. To redeem himself and get back all that he desires, he must commit four great acts of heroism, in so doing, returning the ‘four feathers’.

Jamaica Inn: Set in 19th-century Cornwall, this adaptation of Daphne du Maurier’s novel follows the beautiful young orphan by the name of Mary. She is sent to live with her Aunt Patience and Uncle Joss, landlords of the Jamaica Inn. As time passes by Mary soon begins to realise that her Uncle’s Inn is the base for a gang of pirates who lure ships to their doom on the rocky coast. As Mary settles into her new home, matters start to take a sinister turn and she begins to fear for her own life. She must ultimately put her fate in the hands of a free-spirited outlaw who has the key to her unhappy past.
