Paramount Pictures and Marvel Entertainment present the highly anticipated sequel to the blockbuster film based on the legendary Marvel Super Hero “Iron Man,” reuniting director Jon Favreau and Oscar® nominee Robert Downey Jr.
In “Iron Man 2,” the world is aware that billionaire inventor Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) is the armoured Super Hero Iron Man. Under pressure from the government, the press and the public to share his technology with the military, Tony is unwilling to divulge the secrets behind the Iron Man armour because he fears the information will slip into wrong hands. With Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow) and James “Rhodey” Rhodes (Don Cheadle) at his side, Tony forges new alliances and confronts powerful new forces.
Good movie and GREAT cast!
Mickey r. As whiplash could not have been better cast, and sam rockwell as tony
starks nemesis is just perfect!!
Bring on number 3!!
The second movie in a series is never as good as the first, but this one does pretty well. Very entertaining
Good story excellen plot, but the movie drags on abit without a fight scene or huge bang to get your adrenaline pumping. One fight scene in the boring part of this movie and this movie would have been amazing. A decent movie.
The best way to describe how this movie feels is to compare it to the second
in the Lord of the Rings series. Now before purists choke on Golems raw fish,
I am not directly comparing the movies but the feeling that this is a tale in
transition and the story is not yet finished. Though it stands alone as a good
action movie it feels incomplete. How do you improve on one iron man suit? Well
how about two? This is an action flick that delivers lots of gun fire and lots
of testoterone. It's not as character driven as spiderman but it's true to the
comic book, (sorry, graphic novel) and holds it's own, though I would expect
more from the third in the series.
Turn down the lights, ramp up the volume (AC/DC soundtrack rocks) and enjoy the
ride. This is just fun.
While everyone puts on a good performance and the special effects were fantastic, the story for Iron Man 2 is a little weak. It begins well, flounders a bit in the middle, and then moves to a conclusion that is a bit of an anti-climax. Still, if you just want popcorn, it ain't bad, and Tony, The Black Widow, and Whiplash were good watching.
