Set in a comprehensive school, GRANGE HILL pulled no punches in serving up young audiences with tales of hi-jinks, bullying, playground fights and homework - whilst attracting a fair share of controversy at the time with its realistic portrayal of school life. The series also launched the career of Todd Carty, who starred in the GRANGE HILL spin off Tucker's Luck, and went onto popular roles in Eastenders and The Bill.

Available for the first time on DVD, this 5 disc set presents the first two series of GRANGE HILL. Series 1 includes the famous swimming lesson episode, the saga of Benny's football boots and the arrival of Michael Doyle, and Justin Bennett's fall at a disused warehouse.
