It begins with the reinvigoration of the McKinley high School glee club by idealistic Spanish teacher Will Schuester (Matthew Morrison). Mr. Shu, as his students call him, was a member of the glee club back in its award-winning heyday, and he wants to return the club to its former glory. But times have changed, and the glee club members now find themselves at the bottom of the school caste system, thanks in part to cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester (the always excellent Jane Lynch), who resents having to share school money and resources. That doesn't deter Will, though. He only becomes more determined to grow their little singing group into a full-blown show choir capable of competing respectably in the upcoming sectionals against other local high schools.
Filled with beloved characters and dynamite musical numbers, Glee is an electrifying, pitch-perfect winner.

"Be Fulled with Glee!"
Glee is a great show which takes comedy and important issues delievered by an amazing cast, and ads singing into the mix; and it works! Glee won the gloden globe for best performance by a cast in a comedy, and after watching it it's easy to see why, Glee does exaclty what its name says, it fulls you with glee!
"Its ok but not the best"
This dvd is ok but I would rather watch volume two. I am a gleek but this kind of let me down volume two is much much better.
"A great way to catch up"
Absolutely loved this DVD as well as catching up with missed episodes, I am able to noe replay over and over songs I haven't heard for years and the talent and acting was great.
"I loved it so much I'm banned from singing in the house!"
