The story of The Empire Strikes Back is retold by the Griffin clan!
Darth Vader (Stewie) is hunting the rebel Luke Skywalker (Chris) and his troops relentlessly across the galaxy. On the ice planet Hoth, Luke has a vision of his late mentor Obi-Wan Kenobi (Herbert), telling him to go to the Dagobah system to learn the ways of the Force under Jedi Master Yoda (Carl). Meanwhile Princess Leia (Lois) finds herself taking a shine to the scruffy pilot Han Solo (Peter) and, against all odds, the two soon fall in love. But an encounter with Han’s old friend Lando Calrissian (Mort) lands them in the clutches of the Empire. Envisioning this, Luke chooses to forgo his Jedi training to save his friends. It all comes to a head in a climactic confrontation with Darth Vader himself…
After seeing “Blue Harvest” this movie seriously feels like it is lacking in something… namely humour. The jokes feel dry and stale and really as if they were an after thought to the poor story teling that goes on. For Family Guy and Star Wars fans (so pretty much everyone) it's worth a watch but doubtful you will go back for a second screening
Great product!!!
I love the family guy series and this is one to add to the collection. Will
DEFINITELY use MIGHTYAPE again!!!
Once again Seth MacFarlane has produced another hysterical master piece, an absolute must for any fan of the TV series!
Some people say you need to see Star Wars before understanding whats going on. Yes, that is remotely true but I haven't seen any of Star Wars and even I got some of the Star Wars references and jokes. This movie is still a laugh, and is for any Star Wars or Family Guy fan!
Family guy is finally back with their next installment of the Star Wars parody, This time they move onto the next film “empire strikes back” This film is hilarious regardless of seeing “blue Harvest” but i would definitely recommend watching the original Star Wars episode V before watching this.. Packed full of jokes as always this is a must see for fans of Family Guy and Star Wars.
