Family Guy: Something, Something, Something Dark Side - Special Edition

As a collector I love a well packaged special edition such as this and I don't mind paying the extra price. Of course if you're not a big DVD/Blu Ray collector and just want to watch the Family Guy special then the standard edition is for you not this one.
Like the first Family Guy Star Wars special edition this set comes with a T-shirt and trading cards but unlike the Blue Harvest set it is packaged in a larger cardboard box with a sort of ‘draw’ system that houses the individual components and looks a little out of place shelved beside the smaller Blue Harvest box set.
This special edition is also available in Blu Ray, it would have been better (in my opinion) to simply release the special edition with both the Blu Ray and DVD format as I'm sure collectors would have preferred, instead you will have to make an executive decision.
As for the DVD itself, The Something, Something, Something Darkside is very much like Blue Harvest in the sense that many of the gags are not very noteworthy and mostly rely on the recycling of popular jokes from the show but the few esoteric Star Wars references are what truly makes this worth watching and where the biggest laughs are.

For every true Family Guy fan, this package has a little of everything, killer movie, cool cards, and awesome t-shirt This is great value

Talk about laugh – great for fans of Star Wars and the Family Guy – and the t-shirt is pretty cool too.

This was bought as a present for my teenage son but as he loves anything to do with Stewie,how can I go wrong.
What a great content for the price too.

Just love all the little compartments and the product was amazing . Well worth the it even my daughter wanted to play with the box. I have wanted this package for ages and am so glad mighty ape had it as a special as I couldnt find it anywhere else
