"Lost the Judge Dredd character and Mega City one setting"
If you are a fan of Judge Dredd this is not a movie to watch it is so far off the character. It is like they never read any of the stories and invented their own.

Description
The future America is an irradiated waste land. On its East Coast, running from Boston to Washington DC, lays Mega City One – a vast, violent metropolis where criminals rule the chaotic streets. The only force of order lies with the urban cops called “Judges” who possess the combined powers of judge, jury and instant executioner. Read the only review on here and had to add my own. I read 2000AD from issue 1. Dredd appeared from issue 2. This film version takes the fan to the place that Stalone's version did not. This Dredd is the comic character we all wanted back in the 90s. Not every one will get it – nor should they but is this version a good reflection of the comic…yes it is. If you follow Dredd, watch it, kick back and soak it up. Watch for the fanboy clues all the way through. Karl Urban does a job that many thought only Clint Eastwood could do (reader vote from years ago). Well done fellas. I will buy this and play it to death.
