"A nice peice for the collection"
Season 3 of Dexter is a Fun Blood-filled ride but sadly doesn't have the great storyline that came with Season 1 & 2. The storyline was nothing more than mediocre, but still great to watch never the less. The casting is basically the same as the previous seasons apart from the antagonists. This is still a season that any Dexter fan will still enjoy and should not keep anyone from continuing with the rest of the seasons.

The series is full of surprises as in previous season but this time the are out of left field. The plots twist turn then spin out of control

Description
Dexter's life seems to be going well. His relationship with Rita and her kids is back on track. He's no longer under scrutiny at his day job as a blood splatter analyst for Miami Metro Homicide and his night job as a serial killer is operating on all cylinders. So when he sets his sights on Freebo, a dope dealer and killer, it looks to be just another night of Dexter's dark justice. But things don't go as planned and Dexter must find a way to extract himself from a pair of problems that he created, both in his home and night life.

Having watched seasons 1 & 2 on TV, I just couldn't wait any longer for one of the networks to air season 3. Dexter is absolutely not for the squeamish or prudish – this is raw drama at its best. If shows like Lost leave you cold and you crave something a little more believable and about 10 times more exciting, Dexter is for you.
Dexter is a cold-blooded killer, but still manages to charm you and get you on his side. The character is absolutely mastered by Michael C. Hall. In the role of Dexter's sister Deb, Jennifer Carpenter is street smart & rough as 40-grit sandpaper, but gorgeous and cheeky and will grow on you until you couldn't imagine another actor in this role.
I've viewed the first three episodes since I got this set from Mighty Ape, and so far season 3 looks as good as the previous two. I will be looking to get my hands on the 4th season too. I love this show!
