"a terrific superhero origin story"
Nicely put together origin story, successfully maintaining the world war 2 beginnings while effectively moving Captain Rogers forward into the 21st century. Lots of action, heart and depth. Chris Evans does a nice job of inhabiting the character
"Good movie"
Brought this at the same time as Green Lantern, so glad I did. Both myself and my hubby love it. Well worth waching.

I enjoyed this movie much more than I thought I would … I guess I had visions of Captain America trying to act like Tarantino's Inglorious Bastards, which I loathed. Instead what we have here is a great origin story which explains not only where Captain America came from but also how he's going to fit into the Avengers film. It's an entertaining film on its own merits, but also an excellent lead in to the Marvel Cinematic Universe storyline.
