Breaking Bad - The Complete 1st Season (3 Disc Set)

Ever since I watched the first Breaking Bad episode I was hooked. There was a large delay between the screening of the seasons on TV here which meant it was easy to forget some of the storyline, so owning the DVD allows me to revisit the complete first season and enjoy it all over again. The special features are a real bonus too.

I was surprised to actually discover that it's a 3 disc set, not a 2 disc set as it's advertised. The quality is fantastic and the lack of commercial breaks is very pleasing.

If you're a fan of Breaking Bad, or missed the first season on TV then I'll highly suggest getting this DVD. It's well worth the money and can be watched a countless amount of times. 5-stars from me. Looking forward to when Mighty Ape has the second season for sale.

Walt's diagnosis leaves him believing he's achieved nothing in his life but with a baby on the way, a teenage son with a debilitating disease, no future income insight and peers that have left him feeling like a bottom feeder of their fame he chooses the only course of action he can take, selling drugs.

With a brother in law as a Drug Enforcement Agency officer Walt is in a prime position for staying one step ahead of the police as his new career as meth amphetamine cook, supplier, dealer take off. The ups and downs of this new path have him sharing the struggles and responsibility with his new partner in crime Jesse, a down and out junkie dealer.

As the police close in on there prime suspect in all the new meth related crimes no one suspects the aging cancer patient & high school chemistry teacher of anything out of the ordinary...... Or do they?

You wont be disappointed with this show, especially at these awesome Mighty Ape prices!

Breaking Bad has got to be one of my all time favorite television series, this was an awesome buy for only $25, way too good of a deal to pass up..
I highly recommend this series to all fans of serial drama shows with great writing and acting..

Lots of action and suspense, keeps getting better series 2&3 just as good you won't want to stop!

I caught season 2 of Breaking Bad on C4 and was hooked. I knew straight away I had to buy season 1 on DVD and find out how it began.

The acting is top notch from the cast especially Bryan Cranston, who plays hero? Walter White in the lead.

The episodes are quite gritty because of the subject matter (dealing crystal meth) not to mention nudity, bad language and mild violence.

But there is some funny dialogue, character interactions and black humour that will have you quietly laughing and feeling guilty for doing so.

Breaking Bad: The Complete First Season also contains the usual bonus features like deleted scenes, interviews and behind the scenes footage.

Sadly only 7 episodes were made for season 1 because of the 2008 American Writers Guild strike. But don't let that put you off from buying the DVD set as you will want to rewatch the episodes again and again.

This is must own DVD.
