5 stars "The raw power of DBZ mixed with the gripping story of Naruto"

Like i said before about Naruto and DBZ, but directed at a more mature age audience.

It begins with a kick ass introduction to the main character Ichigo Kurosaki, who later becomes a Soul Reaper. when a person dies they become a “ghost”, which in this world are called “Pures”. These souls can also become monsters called “Hollows.” The only way to see these Pures/Hollows is if you possess high “spiritual power” (this is like Ki from DBZ and Chakra form Naruto.) These Hollow's thirst for fresh souls to devour and in turn become stronger. A Soul Reaper's job is to save innocent souls from the Hollows and send them to the “Soul Society” (Heaven.) A Soul Reaper wields a Katana like blade called a “Zanpakutō” which they use to slay their opponents. So be prepared for some awesome battles and a awesome storyline.

Watch it, love it, buy it! You wont be disappointed.

5 stars "Totally addictive!"

I initially hired this box set but I've since bought the entire season because it is just such an awesome anime series. I thought I wouldn't find anything that could possibly rival Fullmetal Alchemist but this series comes close. Its full of action and comedy and the characters are well developed & likeable.

Unfortunately it tends to go a bit downhill after the first season so you might want to think twice about investing in the second box set. Its an ongoing series with lots of plot twists but it tends to drag on for a bit. Nevertheless, this first box set is a pleasure to own and can be watched again and again…

Would definitely recommend this to anyone who likes action anime.

5 stars "Itchigo GO GO!!!"

Itchigo is a sword swinging specialist, well he's little bit rough but boy can he cut 'em down!

Another Favorite of mine in both the Anime and Manga department.

A really awesome choice for the boys, we love this type of rubbish but hey, one man's trash is another man's treasure ^_^

5 stars "Great series, although somewhat impatient!"

The first 3 arcs (seasons) of Bleach are fantastic and well worth investing money into. Bleach (like all Anime) must be watched as an English subbed show for the full effect. English dubs only take away some of the experience.

Bleach is full action, adventure, excitement and suspense. The characters are deep and easy to relate to. There are periods where an episode or two may drag on but in the end it is well worth it. The first 3 seasons provide a wonderful experience and can be watched over and over.

After the first 3 arcs there are a fair few filler arcs which tend to lean away from what is actually happening while the Anime producers wait for Tite Kubo (the man behind the Manga) to publish more chapters. Some of the filler arcs aren't too bad although initially there is frustration when the previous arc was getting really good then the pace slows right down as you go through a filler.

This arc and the next two are well worth the investment though!
