"Awesome Game"
4 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

Very nice game play and online, with new guns and beautiful maps.

The reason i gave 4 stars rating is the single player is not that good, and finding game in multiplayer sometimes doesn't work but i am sure they will push out an update to fix that.

Overall its awesome game and i enjoy it, Its also much better than Modern Warfare 3

"The game is fine"
3 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

I'm not much of a CoD player. I only bought this to play online with friends, (yet to play campaign). The game play is fine. The hitboxes are buggy and stupid. And the veteran CoD players make improving at the game pretty difficult. But a fine game to play with friends, when your bored and got nothing else to do :)

"Amazing Game!"
4 stars"

Black Ops 2 had made a billion dollars in sales and I would have to say Treyarch deserved it, the game has great graphics, a cool story, scary zombie mode, and an addictive multi-player mode.

And thing I enjoyed was the really cool storyline.

Black Ops 2 is set in the year 2025 (excluding the 1980's missions) when Drones are used all over the world and have been turned against the world by terrorist Raul Menendez.

You will need to use drones and advanced robotics to prevent the world from being annihilated.

The story I found was very exciting and new every time I would replay the game because I was able to make different choices, so when you play the game its not the same story.

Also the zombies mode I found was very fun because you have three new ways to survive the zombie apocalypse which is Grief mode where 2 teams of four players compete to survive, Survival mode where you must survive the endless hordes of the undead, and uncover the mysteries of the undead in Tranzit mode. And now players can enjoy new gameplay with custom games.

And probably the most anticipated would be the multi-player mode.

Black Ops 2 multi-player mode has a new create-a-class, which is the pick-10 system that allows for a combination of any 10 items. What I found fun is being able to do live streaming and being able to broadcast and commentate my games directly on to YouTube.

I would really recommend this game to a friend!

Value For Money: 8/10

Graphics: 8/10

Gameplay:10/10

"Call of Duty Lap Ops 2"
2 stars"

The game is what it says it is, Call of Duty. Gameplay is similar to that of Black Ops, MW2 and MW3…same old same old, with a massive price tag.

The problem is, as with all CoD games, the launch. I cannot stress enough, wait before you buy this game! In a months time it will be cheaper and you won't have the crippling lag, crash etc etc issues that are currently causing to game to be pretty much unplayable.

Also it is worth noting that PC users are forced to use a match finder system when playing multiplayer. No more selecting what server you would like to play on, instead you have to wait in queue while the game attempts to find a server for you.

As an avid fan of FPS games, I'm sad to say that this will be my last CoD…tired of the bugs and being treated as if I'm on a xbox.

"USUAL BAD LAUNCH" Purchased on Mighty Ape

Extremely bad lag, pretty much unplayable. Graphics are almost cartoon like, probably made for console's. Hard to understand how a game like the original Modern Warfare can turn into something so bad.

"Bad Reviews-"

So I've looked into this game a bit and it seems to be more interesting than previous Call of Duty games. ( after Modern Warfare ) So I haven't heard about these so called “Bad Reviews” until now, the reviews written here are the only ones I've seen that have said anything about the game being bad.

We'll just go over a few things quickly, and there is a “WTF is…” video by Totalbiscuit on YouTube if you want an honest review on the game. Anyhow, the graphics are fine, it's a port but they're still good. Unless you're going to hunt out bad textures you'll probably not notice them. The launch has been much better than previous games, a few bugs but there were no lag problems unless you have ISP/Router/Client/PC issues. Gameplay is the same, only bad if you don't like it. If you don't like it then you wouldn't be here anyway. Game hosting, there are dedicated servers, this is a step up from before where the host advantage would make the game a lot harder for everyone else. Asking for more than dedicated servers for a port is asking a lot, especially for a Call of Duty game. Sound is the same as usual, on the upper side of average, that being “It doesn't make the game worse”. The unlock system, I think it's amazing, except for the part where you level up your guns through using them. I find that annoying, being able to unlock anything whenever with some of currency of sorts would make the customization more unique. It requires Steam to play, which may or may not be a good thing for some people. The price is quite high. I would be alright buying just the multiplayer and zombie modes for, say $60–70 NZD. Is a single player mode worth it-

In short, if you like CoD you'd get this. There are no serious game breaking problems on launch and it does a few new things with customization which is great. At the end of the day it is the gameplay that makes this game and you should already know if you want that or not.

"Its COD"
4 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

Like it much more than the first Black Ops, although I do mainly just play multiplayer. The class customisation is pretty cool, lets you personalise your classes much more than the previous CODs.

"Map/Weapon Pack"

If you buy shooters for multiplayer, I don't recommend this game at all. No improvements on old call of duty games, graphics and gameplay are becoming incredibly dated.

Great game. Treyarch has delivered a game that i really enjoy playing. Comes with Nuketown 2025 multiplayer map but doesn't include Nuketown Zombies (which is US $4.99 in Steam Store) which i was gutted about. Aside from this, the game play is fun, fast and you can easily play with friends.

Better than MW3.

Tip: Set your multiplayer game mode to any and you will find games a lot faster.

"Bots"
3 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

Once you've played one COD game you've played them all. The only thing that makes this one more better then others is the bot system, if your running out of internet usage playing online then just switch to bots and enjoy the same pleasure as you would playing it online.

""FINALLY"" Purchased on Mighty Ape

Just brought black ops 2 stoked now I can stat online. ADD ME: MaOrI aFtA dArK........... Wicked non steam no lag online lol

"better than what people say"
5 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

I really enjoy this game, the servers have been fine to me. you get the odd idiot who takes the game to serious. People should have no problem running this game because i get 200 fps average at full HD ultra setting.

"A good delivery all round"
5 stars"

This new addition to COD's lineup is one that certainly breaks a few rules, and it does better for it. COD haters take note… Story wise the characters are a treat in this. More than just battlefield banter, they have real depth to them, and the villain is actually rather understandable. Gameplay-wise, the controls are tight, and the guns feel great. Multiplayer is improved on the previous incarnations, and the pick 10 system is a pleasure to use. Overall, this was a surprise to me. Good game for you FPS fans out there, and any other casual gamers looking for something with serious replay value once you've clocked the campaign a few times!

"Wish I could ask for money back"

Single player is fine, same old COD But the main reason I bought this game is for multi-player

First, waiting for available game, you have no idea where it might be, so far I can't get 4 bars on my ping. So you can imagine how frustrated it was trying to shoot something that's not there and it seems to be a known issues with BO2 at the moment.
