The Joy Formidable began building a buzz in 2008, making appearances…
The Joy Formidable are back, and they are not messing around with the release of their latest album WOLF’S LAW available on January 18, the follow up to their acclaimed 2011 release, THE BIG ROAR.
The Welsh group recently unveiled the album’s first single ‘This Ladder is Ours’, which is at radio now. See the video here: http://youtu.be/Y_t4s-HX3z0
The band’s last release was 2011’s impressive THE BIG ROAR, which featured the hit single ‘Whirring’ which was hailed by Dave Grohl as “the song of the year”.
THE BIG ROAR saw the trio unfold a revolutionary loud/quiet dynamic for a new decade, which has left many agreeing with an earlier NME review which stated ‘The Joy Formidable have always sounded so much bigger than the stages they inhabit’.
