Description
After two promising EPs Life of Leisure and High Times in 2009 Washed Out, aka Atlanta-based synth-pop musician Ernest Greene releases his debut album on Sub Pop.
Within and Without takes hazy late-night bedroom synthpop and amps it up exponentially, with live instruments – cello, bass, violins, drums – under guidance from producer Ben Allen, who, among a great many other things, coproduced Animal Collective’s Merriweather Post Pavillion, Gnarls Barkley’s St. Elsewhere and Deerhunter’s Halcyon Digest.
