5 stars "The pinnacle of originality"

A great C.D. from a great New Zealand band who came out of Upper Hutt in the mid-sixties. Mostly self penned songs from Ali Richardson and Wayne Mason who were unlucky not to score a number one hit with their first single ‘Come With Me ' ( kept out of #1 by a song called Hey Jude by some British band called The Beatles. ).
Good collection of their New Zealand recorded hits from the H.M.V studio’s in Wellington plus a few gems from their never ( YET ) released English Album recorded at Morgan Studios ( and some at Decca ) in London in 1970 / 71.
Good to see that some members are still playing music in 2008 ( and beyond I hope ).
Buy now and re-live the memory and talent that was within this iconic Wellington band who took New Zealand by storm in '67, '68, '69, '70, with some fantastic singles BUT also five or so mighty albums.
