Deus is an indie rock band based in Antwerp, Belgium, currently consisting of Tom Barman (vocals and guitar), Klaas Janzoons (keyboards and violin), Stéphane Misseghers (drums), Alan Gevaert (bass) and Mauro Pawlowski (guitar and vocals).
‘Vantage Point’ is Deus’s 5th album and was recorded in their own studio of the same name. The recording and mixing process only took 3 months, which was a record by Deus standards.
Some songs are loud and groovy, while others like “Smoker’s Reflect” and “Eternal Woman” are very melody driven.
Guest vocals include Guy Garvey from Elbow and Karen Dreijer from Swedish band The Knife
