Following the release of their electronic benchmark album 'Roofers' in 1997, Zane Lowe and Hamish Clark decided to take far too long to make another record. Here, they have added "live" instrumentation, a wealth of harmonic and melodic inspiration; thrown in the breaks, the vinyl and the tough drums. Then they found the strangely undiscovered soul great (and chain smoker) Andy Lovegrove, a voice they decided was born to sing on their music.
