Description

Marilyn Manson's anticipated reunion with longtime friend and foil Twiggy Ramirez is finally a reality in the form of his new album The High End of Low. The new lineup on the album includes Ramirez (for the first time in close to a decade), plus keyboardist Chris Vrenna, and dummer Ginger Fish.

Produced by Manson, Vrenna, and Twiggy and recorded in Manson's Hollywood Hills studio, the album is dark and brooding just as we should expect. Manson says "I think my life definitely ended and began. The record sounds very final, but it's almost optimistic - though that feels like a strange word to use. It's a phoenix from the fire and a redemption resurrection.”

With tracks like 'I Want To Kill You Like They Do In The Movies’ and 'Arma...geddon' the new era of Manson is sure to ignite fans past and reveal more brilliance of an artist behind some of the most enduring and genredefying music in the rock era – 'Lunchbox,' 'Sweet Dreams,' 'The Beautiful People,' 'Tourniquet,' 'The Dope Show,' 'This Is The New Shit,' 'Mobscene,' 'Heart-Shaped Glasses,' etc…

5 stars "One of Mansons finest"

I am a big fan of Manson, and think his lyrics and style are excellent displays of true artistry. I have bought all of Manson's other albums and really looked forward to the release of this one, when i got it i was very happy with the album, sticking to his tried and true style, most of the album follows on from the previous ones, but there are a couple of new styles thrown into the mix as well, but i assure you, adding this to your collection is certainly a plus. The opening song is an unfound classic waiting to be discovered and Arma-goddamn mother-f***in-geddon is an instant hit. This album is bound to wear your headphones out from constant listening.
