For those of you who don't know, Billy Birmingham is a comic genius who impersonates sporting commentators and players. The box set contains some of the funniest pieces of sporting comedy you will ever hear. If you're a cricket fan, this will send you absolutely rolling on the floor laughing. And if you're just a general sports fan, then you too will find bits of comedy gold throughout the 7 albums.
The first album is pretty average, being about all types of sports, not just cricket. And the last album, Boned, is definitely the weakest link. However, the 5 albums in between are pure gold to any fan of the five day game.
If by the time you've finished listening to this great collection you're not saying “Got him, yes! Piss off, you're out! Stick that up your arse Tony Gregg” (not sure I'm aloud to write that on here :S) every time you see a wicket on TV, then you're not a real cricket fan.
A guaranteed great gift for any cricket fan.
