On 2007's LOVE, Murphy interprets the songs of such diverse talents as Alan Jay Lerner, Brit rockers Coldplay, country music legend Johnny Cash, and saxophonist/composer Oliver Nelson. The album also features vibrant, imaginative orchestral arrangements and a cameo appearance from another captain of cool, alto sax veteran Lee Konitz.
