Amnesty International commemorates its 50th anniversary with the release of an album featuring the cream of the world's music talent covering Bob Dylan songs – with contributions from a huge variety of artists including Adele, Patti Smith, Pete Townshend, Ke$ha, The Gaslight Anthem, Sting, Jackson Browne, Elvis Costello, Sinéad O'Connor, Kris Kristofferson, Bad Religion, Marianne Faithfull, My Chemical Romance, Bryan Ferry, Pete Seeger and many many more.

‘Chimes of Freedom: The Songs of Bob Dylan (Honoring 50 Years of Amnesty International)’ features 73 tracks on 4 CDs. All artists have donated their tracks for free. The album has been executive produced by Jeff Ayeroff and Julie Yannatta and follows up 2007's ‘Instant Karma: The Amnesty International Campaign to Save Darfur’ (Amnesty's biggest music fundraiser to date), which featured U2, Green Day, R.E.M., Black Eyed Peas, Christina Aguilera, Jack Johnson, The Flaming Lips and many more.
