Welcome to life with vampires in general society. Meet Sookie and her diverse supernatural Friends. If you watched the TV version, you will love the books. Books differ from TV series with some different characters also appearing but I absolutely loved them.Very entertaining and roll-along plot. I'm thrilled with this purchase.

From the first book Dead Until Dark you become absolutely fascinated with Sookie Stackhouse and her life. The action, romance and sexy scences are addictive. Very difficult to put these books down! I had already read all the books then I purchased this boxed set and I will read them again in a month or so!

These books are addictive, so be warned: once you start, you won't want to stop.
Just the right mix of action, intrigue, romance and mystery.
This boxed set is the best value by far. Though it pays to notice that the 10th book in the box is not the 10th book in the series (Dead in the Family), it is instead a collection of short stories (a Touch of Dead) about Sookie that fills in some of the gaps between the novels. Very enjoyable and nice to have some of the finer details explained, just had to get over the disappointment that I couldn't pick up where book 9 left off.
