Ripe Recipes

Am really enjoying the recipes in this book. It is set out in 2 month sections so easy to cook seasonally. Great new salad recipes especially for this time of year when you want to take something different when you go out.

I had this book given to me by my daughter and bought it for a gift as a result. The seasonal recipes are so helpful to access and purchase produce – it is a no brainer. Every recipe I have used so far has been successful. Well done Angela, looking forward to being in Auckland and visiting Ripe.

I am one of those people who makes food the same way for years. Until a friend of mine lent me this book which she had got from the library. “I had to buy it!” she said. I spent the next week making something from it every night!. This book is awesome the food is LOCAL and listed in SEASONAL order meaning you can actually find the items in your local shop and cook fantastic fresh food whilst keeping the spend down. Unlike many cookbooks from overseas. I had to buy one now too :) and I just hope it arrives in time for tomorrow nights dinner.. No more “spag bol” for us!!

This cookbook was a hit for my mum in Melbourne, its from the owner of Ripe deli in Grey Lynn, Auckland. The deli is the most amazing cafe I have come across in New Zealand and rivals the best cafes in Melbourne. The recipes are clients favorites and the pictures show just how delicious the food is.
