Author Biography
Kyle Mewburn was born in Brisbane, Australia, travelled in Europe and the Middle East before settling in New Zealand in 1990. Mewburn's publications include The Hoppleplop (Scholastic, 2004) and The Bear in the Room Next Door (Scholastic, 2006), as well as Kiss! Kiss! Yuck! Yuck! (Scholastic) which won best Picture Book and Children's Choice Award at the New Zealand Post Book Awards in 2007. Heath MacKenzie is a best-selling illustrator and designer from Melbourne. He illustrates children's books, magazines and novels.
