Description
Over forty million children have been head to reading by the incomparable Mrs Wishy-Washy and her saucy barnyard friends. Now, for the first time, the younger child can begin that same wondrous journey into reading with this rollicking board book edition.
Cow, Pig, and Duck are playing in the mud, when along comes Mrs. Wishy-Washy. "Oh lovely mud," think the three friends. But Mrs. Wishy-Washy says, "Just LOOK at you!" and washes them clean: wishy-washy, wishy-washy. But what do you think happens the moment Mrs. Wishy-Washy turns her back on this mud-loving trio? Better have a scrub brush ready!
A perfect introduction to the delightful storytelling of Joy Cowley.
Review
Mud, lovely mud--the cow exclaims as she jumps in to roll about. The portly pig decides to join in the fun followed by the sassy white duck. Oh, this will never do! Mrs. Wishy-Washy is very distressed, and she soon dumps them one by one into a sudsy tub and scrubs until every speck of mud is gone. Content with her clean up, Mrs. Wishy-Washy walks away, and what do those animals do? They jump right back into the mud and resume playing. Mrs. Wishy-Washy has made the transition to board book and the antics of her farmyard friends will entertain a whole new generation of young children. Children's Literature

Good story, however, the book itself should be bigger in size. Kids would love and appreciate it more if it's more visible specially in kindie schools where you put it in rolling board while narrating it to them.
