4 stars "Still worthy, but not as good."

Firstly, this hardcover guide is a nice hefty book and worthy of any Dragon Age fans library.

The quality of the book, including embossing, is top-notch and it's very thick in pages. Including extra chapters which include a recap of the events in the first game for the uninitiated.

The downside, I felt, was in the order information and quests were laid out. This always seems to be the problem with whoever edits these Piggyback guides.

The previous Dragon Age Origins guide was published by Prima. That Collector's guide was also of a great build quality but also had maps that went side by side with the descriptions and walkthrough.

With this Piggyback guide, it separates the maps to a section at the back and the walkthrough is harder to follow since on your first playthrough you don't know the places so well. When it says, “Make sure you pick up this character before you move on.” It doesn't actually tell you where this person is or how to get them. Which I found a little annoying.

That being said, the section on combat and strategies has proved very helpful. I just wish the walkthrough and maps had been done in an easier to follow and understandable way.

Great for the Dragon Age fan never-the-less!

5 stars "Handy to Have on Hand"

This book is very handy to have on hand while playing DAO II

While the pages are very nice and has some amazing artwork, it is a bit difficult to keep open to that particular page where you need to read without damaging the spine of the book.

Apart from that downside, it is definitely a book worth having and keeping for your collection and personal use for the game ^^
