"Awesome!"
I preordered this book because I wanted it so bad. I extremely recommend reading the rest of the fantastic series before reading this one, but if you have read the other ones: BUY THIS! It has the classic, witty and funny Skulduggery Pleasant and his Stubborn sidekick Valkyrie Cain. The adventure is great and fast paced. I couldn't put it down! 150 out of 10
"Excellent"
This book is a masterpiece. An excellent demonstration of Derek Landy's genius and humour. This book has no evidence of cliche and has a totally unexpected plot line, a great read, very, very hard to put down. Would recommend to anyone, but one must read the books predecessors. I shalln't say a bad thing about this book, for there is none.

All your favourites back again, and even an evil twist to our friend Skulduggery. As per Derek Landy's previous issues of Skulduggery Pleasant, this is another page-turner. Roll-on his next instalment due early next year!

Derek Landy lives near Dublin. Before writing his children's story about a sharply-dressed skeleton detective, he wrote the screenplays for a zombie movie and a murderous horror film. "I think my career-guidance teacher is spinning in her grave," he says, "or she would be if she were dead."

I love this series its got humor, action drama and good for any ages. (im 37 lol) I cant wait for the next book and the movie that hopefully be out soon…
