Brady Games delivers with this awesome guide to Bioshock 2.
The book itself features a foil-inspired dust sleeve, under which is a beautiful hardbound book. This comes complete with some artistic design on the inside of the front and back cover.
Getting to the crux of it… The guide is well-mapped out and if you're trying to find everything (including hidden bonuses) then you'll definitely benefit from the advice in this book.
Everything is broken down for you, such as the weapons section which lays out what you can attach and the pros and cons of each part.
The maps are well done, they feature at the start of each new chapter (area) and are identical to the ones in-game. But contain all the locations of items, so as to help you decide on which way to tackle the area, or to make sure you've squeezed everything out of the area before you move on.
The artwork throughout the guide is both tasteful and some of it has the dark, tongue-in-cheek humour that Bioshock is known for.
Finally, two limited-edition lithographs (randomly selected at print) are included. Each of these is a different artist's perspective of Rapture and so no two are the same.
It's a nice addition and definitely a score for the avid Bioshock Collector.
If you're a big fan of Bioshock, you'll really enjoy the quality of this guide and owe it to yourself to snap it up!
