Description

Sleep all day. Party all night. Never grow old. Never die. It's fun to be a vampire.

Sam and his older brother Michael are all-American teens with all-American interests. But after they move with their mother to peaceful Santa Carla, California, things mysteriously begin to change. Michael's not himself lately. And Mom's not going to like what he's turning into.

The Lost Boys reshapes vampire tradition, deftly mixing heart-pounding terror, rib-tickling laughs and a body-gyrating rock soundtrack. Under Joel Schumacher's direction, a marvellous cast - Jason Patric, Jami Gertz, Kiefer Sutherland, Corey Feldman, Corey Haim, Barnard Hughes and Edward Herrmann - stakes you to gleefully ghoulish entertainment.

4 stars "Ageless. Party all night, sleep all day."

Well pretty much, don't forget this was made in the 80's. Classic movie nonetheless. Maybe not essential on blu ray.

5 stars "The ultimate vampire movie!"

Scary, romantic, funny. This is a movie with something for everyone, wrapped up in a plot that doesn't require deep thinking, but does hold the interest! Rampant vampires in a quiet seaside town – things that go on after dark, impressionable teenagers, single parent families ..... It has stood the test of time, as it was initially released in the late 80's with a much younger Keifer Sutherland in a leading role. It is very entertaining, it is very watchable and it is terrific to have it in blu-ray!

5 stars "Vamp-tastic!"

If you like the classic vampires that can get killed by sunlight, holy water and garlic, then this is the movie for you.

Set in Santa Carla, with the festival theme is an all time favorite of mine if it has to do with Vampires.

If you like Twilight, then I don't recommend this movie for you to watch seeing as there is no good vampires in this film :)

If you like the classic horror Vampire flicks, then pick this movie to watch and enjoy. :)
