1 stars "Another franchise completely destroyed."

We've had Dragonball: Evolution (2009) and Tekken (2010) both of which were pretty terrible movies (mind you, Tekken was actually pretty good), then you've got The Last Airbender based on the famous cartoon Avatar. Now I just don't know where to begin, I felt so much pain watching this film, from the acting to the cast to the script I just couldn't believe how bad this was. It deserves a special place in movie hell right next to… wait for it… Batman & Robin, actually no, Batman & Robin is far better then this movie (yep, it's really that bad). So save yourself the money (and time) and downloa… no wait, it's not even worth downloading. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! STAY AWAY FROM THIS MOVIE!

1 stars "well i almost cryed"

all of this movie is riddled with rubbish. they don't pronounce names right and the story is nothing like that of the cartoon witch was very well liked by my younger brother, if you are getting this movie younger child well i don't even see them liking it you would be way better off spending double the amount and getting the whole cartoon series then there will not be any sad faces

1 stars "Unspeakable Monstrosity"

Wow! The I read the bad reviews on the mighty ape website and they weren't lying, The last air bender is one of the worst movies I've ever seen.
There is no redeeming qualities about this film. If you thought M.Night Shyamalan had hit rock bottom with his last film “The Happening”, this film is worst than that! Bad acting (worst than shortland street), bad dialogue (laughable), bad execution, bad bad bad!
As for the extras on the blue ray disc it's pretty standard with deleted scenes, cast interviews, outtakes etc. I would've paid to see fans of the animated series clean house with a cricket bat while they were shooting the film.
All in all I can't think of one good thing about this movie, maybe I missed something good while I was turning to vomit because as a fan of the animated series watching this film made me physically ill.
I hope this director is not the green light to make the sequels. Shyamalan has done what the fire nation could not do, he's killed the avatar. This franchise needs a reboot Judge Dredd style. This movie however would make a great gift for someone you hate.
