4 stars "Not as bad as they say..."

When I went to see ‘Sucker Punch’ at the cinemas I didn't go in expecting another ‘Inception’ as most people seem to compare this film to. I went in expecting a Zack Snyder film (a film that is visually stunning and entertaining but doesn't necessarily hold up in the story department) and that is EXACTLY what ‘Sucker Punch’ delivered. I went in with an open mind kind of knowing how the film would be (think ‘300’ and ‘Watchmen’) and I was thoroughly entertained with the exception of Vanessa Hudgens (I'm sorry, but YOU completely ruined this film from being a 5/5) I actually wanted to throw something at the screen during her (thankfully) very few scenes of dialogue… BLAH! A beautiful, rich and VERY entertaining film, don't listen to the critics and see this for yourself. Again I would give it 5/5 but Vanessa Hudgens just ruins it (I wonder if they could edit her out for the Ultimate Cut) :L

5 stars "Steam powered nazi zombies!"

The extended cut is so cool! Worth it just for the extended fight scenes. Also a novel approach to the features with some interesting stuff.

4 stars "A great movie"

Although many others find this movie confusing, I found it to be rather interesting. The concept alone is fantastic and the execution of this visual cinema is nearly awe-inspiring
