Sometimes when Hollywood takes a comic book and turns it into a movie they often fail to live up to the fans expectations.
Kick-Ass is one of those comic book turned movie adaptations thats is not and as many reviewers around the world have stated,by the end of this movie you yourself feel like you want to become a superhero.
Simply,its a movie you can watch again and again and when you do no doubt you will remember Chloe Moretz alias Mindy Macready (Hit Girl),her performance in this movie is simply stunning and she gets without a doubt some of the best one liners you'll ever here from a 13 yr old
Taking over 100.000.000 at the U.S Box Office alone it has propelled director Mathew Vaughn into the hot seat,he is currently in the directors chair for the new X-Men First Class currently being filmed,and ofcourse with the massive success of Kick-Ass he is currently working with the creator of the comic book on the next chapter said to be due out later next year entitled Kick -Ass 2 Balls To The Wall.
Kick-Ass is a rare example of how Hollywood can sometimes do things right and how a director with vision along with the right casting can create something that is quite special

I'm not normally fan of comic book movies, but Kick-Ass is the perfect title for this crazy film which completely warps the genre! It's funny and yet cool in a Kill Bill way, and refreshingly original. The first time I saw this movie I immediately decided it would be being added to my Blu-Ray collection. The script is tight, the action insane and the acting is superb. An instant classic!

A magic movie that broke the mould. This movie is Kick Ass and if you havent seen it then you really are missing out, if you don't own it then you are gonna be spending lots of money hiring it.

Like the title, this is a KICK-ASS movie.

This is about an ordinary teenager named Dave who sets outs to become a real life superhero called Kick-Ass, what he doesn't know is that he is going to change the world when he meets a former cop Big Daddy and his ruthless daughter Hit-Girl as they face against the evil Frank D'Amico.

This was probably the best super hero movie i've ever seen, funny heroic the whole package.

Great movie, very interesting story and good fight scenes. Also the soundtrack fits the movie perfectly!

Hardcore action but these are not your regular heroes!

There's not many movies that have a 12 year old girl who's a superhero with a tongue quite like that of Hitgirl in Kick Ass. One of my favourite characters in a long time, she lights up the screen in this superhero/come­dy/rom-com. I really enjoyed the storyline that went along with the funny moments in this, enough of a storyline to be taken seriously as a hero movie. This movie gets a 5/5 from me, purely for being different, for pushing the boundaries with a bit of swearing and some pretty dece violence, and for holding my interest all the way through. Well-thought out characters (thanks mainly to being strongly based on the comic series by the same name), strong storylines and relationships and a believable note to the teenage lifestyle!!

Superb, original story with outstanding direction. Cast of newcomers (apart from Nicholas Cage who has his best role in years) do an outstanding job bringing this ridiculously entertaining script to life. Destined to become a cult classic.

Not your average movie. And confirms why ordinary people haven't become superheroes :). This movie really kick's ass. A few funnies and some really good fight scenes especially with Hitgirl.

Awesome movie. The acting in some points is a bit weak. But Chloe Moretz (as Hit Girl) and Nicolas Cage (as Big Daddy) help to keep the movie interesting. The action is very over the top but still very entertaining. Well worth watching.

I was thoroughly disappointed in this product. Based on the title, I thought it might be a self-mutilation device sneakily concealed within a Blu-Ray case, used for “kicking ass”. I was sorely mistaken. It is just a movie, that I have no means of watching, as I do not own a TV. Deceptive title.
