Death Race:

In the near-future prisons are run by a corporation which uses inmates to participate in the most popular sport on earth, a brutal adrenalin-fuelled game of carnage in which monster cars are fitted with machine guns, flame-throwers and rocket launchers.

Former racing champion Jensen Arnes is just 2 months away from release when the corporation selects him for the biggest event of the season, the Death Race.
