Description
After taking moviegoers magically into the realm of toys, bugs, monsters, fish and superheroes, the masterful storytellers and technical wizards at Pixar Animation Studios and Academy Award-winning director, John Lasseter, hit the road with a fast paced comedy adventure set inside the world of cars.
Lightning McQueen (voice of Owen Wilson), a hotshot rookie race car driven to succeed, discovers that life is about the journey, not the finish line, when he finds himself unexpectedly detoured in the sleepy Route 66 town of Radiator Springs. On route across the country to the big Piston Cup Championship in California to compete against two seasoned pros, McQueen gets to know the town’s offbeat characters – including Sally (a snazzy 2002 Porsche voiced by Bonnie Hunt), Doc Hudson (a 1951 Hudson Hornet with a mysterious past, voiced by Paul Newman) and Mater (a rusty but trusty tow truck voiced by Larry the Cable Guy) – who help him realise that there are more important things than trophies, fame and sponsorship.
The all-star vocal cast also includes freewheeling performances by racing legend, Richard Petty and Cheech Marin. Fuelled with plenty of humour, heartfelt drama and amazing new technical feats, Cars is a high-octane delight for moviegoers of all ages.

OVERALL:
This movie is one of the best films you'll see or hear on Blu-ray and one of the
best animation films I've seen to date on my HDTV. A must have for all Blu-ray
owners! I've had this title on DVD for the longest time never taking the time to
view it. After reading positive reviews I purchased the Blu-ray version. WOW!
What took me so long! I loved it!
VIDEO:
The video quality is a jaw dropping unbelievable experience! Razor Sharp, Depth,
Rich Vibrant Bright Colours giving you an almost real 3D feel. The best I've
seen for Depth of any movie to-date. Who needs 3D glasses when you have CARS on
blu-ray! This will convert all your friends to High Definition without fail!
AUDIO:
The sound is amazing! 5.1 PCM Audio! The best you can get in uncompressed
audio! Authentic Bliss !
MOVIE:
An excellent comical family flick that adults can enjoy alongside the kids.
I loved it's quirky humor and it's funny subtle adult references!

"Amazing Pixar Movie"
I have always loved Pixar and their movies and Cars is no exception. The Voice Actors are very good Owen Wilson dose a fantastic job as Lighting Mc Queen the role was perfect for him they always choose great actors for these animated movies. Pual Newman's last job befor he passed away. 5 Stars
