Gave this to my nephew for his 1st birthday and he loved it – really liked the feel of the baby chicken

"A bright cheery book that my baby really likes" Purchased on Mighty Ape

My baby is only 3 months old, but loves to look at Mimi the monkey, and hear the story. The story is short and therefore keeps her attention…but for an older child be aware there are only 5 sets of pages (and things to feel). The “touch and feel” materials used are high quality and are not loose but well sealed into the pages. Overall a great book for baby!

Reader Reviews

“This is a quality touch and feel book for babies/young toddlers. My son loves to look at the different animals on the pages and feel the different textures of the various animals. The colors are bright and bold and the text is simple and clear which also makes it interesting for him. This is definitely one of his favorites and a fun book to look at over and over again (even for me!).” By L. Menker

“This is such a great interactive book for little children! My son is 8 months old and absolutely loves this book. It is his favorite by far! There are different materials to touch and feel on each page. This book is about Mimi (a girl monkey) and her discovering different baby animals. Opening the front cover reveals a swatch of fluffy ‘down’ on a picture of a baby chick. Turn the page and pet a puppy's soft ears. On the next page you can touch a kitten's long thick fur. The second to last page has a baby turtle who's hard and smooth shell is exposed for stroking. On the very last page we discover something very different than all the rest of the soft or smooth textures, a baby hedgehog! It's ‘quills’ are the pokey side of some velco, and my son thoroughly enjoys scratching it and hearing the crunchy sound it makes. This small board book is a wonderful learning experience. When my son and I read it together, I only read the two lines of words on the first page. When he's older and can understand more I think he'll enjoy the other page's words as well. I really appreciate that each animal that you can touch is a picture of the real animal. This book is only 6inx6in, but is packed with fun.” By Daudrey
