Taste 10/10: Most weight loss products are in pill form but more are becoming powdered. Happy to report the lime taste is Refreshing and leaves no foul aftertaste. More flavours on the horizon but content to stick to lime for now.
Consistency 10/10: Mixes up with a spoon or in a shaker within seconds, no residue.
Formula 10/10: When I first read about the ingredients in Diablo I was immediately intrigued. These were not just the sameold same olds from every other thermogenic out there. There is caffeine – but not anything over the top. At 125mg per serve you are looking at a ‘standard coffee’.
While the dosage of green coffee bean extract is at a ‘Dr Oz’ accepted level (I don't mean that in a bad way – it's An ingredient which has apparetnly been studied and has some backing to weight loss claims, and he is all over it!) There are 3 ingredients that are new to anything I've seen: ADILASE™: HEMEROCALLIS FULVA extract, eLMn8™ Alchemilla vulgaris, and 6AM™: Aframomum melegueta seed extract
I'm giving this a 10/10 for formula as the ingredients that I searched on seemed to match up with the claims elsewhere on the internet.
Effect 7/10:
One of the promoted benefits of this product, well, you could say the primary effect given the name alone, is the rise in body heat.
I used the beta product some months ago, not aware of what the product actually was, and it certainly warmed me up. However now, being summer, I find this harder to evaluate given .. Well.. It's hot everywhere now. I've had days off this product and can say that I'm pretty sure I felt far warmer on the days that I was taking it.
Also I noticed that it didn't start from the first dose. I think for me I really only felt it after a week of using the product. It felt to me like it had to build up in my system first, which was strange given the beta dose I had months ago hit me hard just hours later. The formula may or may not have changed. But again, it's really hard to judge when this summer is a right scorcher anyway.
Of note this is not a high stimulant product. It contains several mood enhancers but is not nearly on the same level as certain others I've used before that are no longer available. However I have a high tolerance to these products so it may have a better effect on others.
Results:
I logged the product over 3 weeks. I took 3–4 serves a day (recommended you don't take over 3). I was using this over the xmas period (I was actually fairly well behaved) and added a bit of extra cardio over the break as well.
When starting this supplement my bf % according to calipers was 13.5%. When I had finished, it was 11.8%.
Do I give 100% credit to this product- I can't say for sure. Would I have added more flab over the break were I not using it- I actually think so, and this is what I have to base my conclusion on.
Overall:
I'm really impressed with this product. I feel that it helped me to burn off some excess weight, or at least keep it down over the xmas break. I am also logging another product to assist with muscle building and I have found that the combination has helped my arms and shoulders to grow, while leaning out enough to show a bit more definition.
However, I found that the second 2 tubs I used didn't quite have the same effect. I didn't feel the same thermogenic response, so may have just gotten a bit tolerant to it.
