How to buy an item
Buying an item from the Marketplace is easy thanks to payment and delivery options being handled by Mighty Ape, and not the seller.
To buy an item just click the “Buy Now” button beside the Marketplace listing at the bottom of the listing page. Be sure to check the seller’s feedback and the condition of the item you’re buying before proceeding.
When buying a Marketplace item you use a customized version of the Mighty Ape checkout that only allows you to purchase one Marketplace item at a time. You can select your delivery address from your saved addresses, and this will be forwarded to the seller. If the seller offers a range of delivery methods you can choose how you want your item delivered, and “Standard Courier – tracked” will always be presented as an option.
When paying for your item, you’re paying Mighty Ape and we’ll forward your payment to the seller upon delivery of your item. If you choose “Standard Courier – tracked” as your delivery method, you will also be covered by the Safety Guarantee if the seller fails to ship your item.
All of Mighty Ape’s payment options will be presented to you in the Marketplace checkout including Credit Card, Internet Banking, bank deposit and PayPal. If you have Mighty Ape account credit you can use this too.
