This May we've got an awesome Mad
Catz Grand Prize Pack up for grabs with our Gorilla Gaming Rigs and
we thought we had better give the F.L.Y
5 Joystick and Throttle setup a quick flight test just to make
sure it's ready for some hard core PC gaming though out the coming winter!
We decided to put the joystick
through its paces with two of the hottest space sims, Elite Dangerous (rumor has
it this is coming to Xbox) and Star Citizen. Though Star Citizen isn't quite a
finished game yet if you back this kickstarter
gone crazy you'll get some pretty cool early access
content :)
First up – Star Citizen! A quick race should be perfect
to see how the joystick handles itself with the quick, twitchy movements
required in a good old fashioned upper atmosphere high speed race through a
cloud city :) For this one we've got the joystick hat set to control directional
boosters and afterburner set to button 11 for easy access from the
throttle.
