Having the right keyboard for your computer is crucial to having the right experience. Sure, CPU, RAM and Motherboards are all going to help your computer get the job done, but your keyboard is your means of destroying foes or communicating with loved ones. Take it away and you might as well be watching TV.
Of course, it's about having the right keyboard for your needs. Not everyone is going to need the control panel for the Starship Enterprise on their desk, just like a minimal bluetooth keyboard isn't going to be enough for others. Different (key)strokes for different folks.
