Duane is back from E3 now… but he's so busy that he still needs me to write his blog posts for him :P The following continues on from where we left off last week. Enjoy!
Day 3
- Watch Dogs – Is it possible that such graphical awesomeness can indeed be squeezed out of the ageing Xbox 360 and PS3? Seems somewhat unlikely. Perhaps – as my colleague Dan will attest – we were in fact getting a sneak peak at what the next generation of gaming hardware will put out. Either way, the glimpse of Watch Dogs was nothing short of epic.
- Borderlands 2 – Only having 15 minutes of behind the scenes play time was was more of a tease than anything else. At first my return to Pandora seemed to be more of the same from the first game, but the longer I played, the more I realised how different it was. Simply put, the game is considerably bigger, and much, much better.
- Halo 4 – After an impressive 10 minute presentation (where we were ceremoniously treated to incredible new foes, and spectacular environments), we were all bundled into another room, before engaging in a good old fashioned team death match. Despite the absence of Bungie-input, it seems that fans of the series will certainly not be disappointed.
