Rainbow Confectionery

Rainbow confectionery was founded by Julius Romison back in 1884 and operated at home. Soon he built a factory in Dunedin and owned 3 retail stores and received the highest award for fancy confectionery during the 1890 Dunedin Exhibition. The business later became known as Regina Confections limited.

Regina was sold to Nestle NZ and the new brand name Rainbow ConfectioneryLtd was used since 2001. In 2013 Regina was re-launched. All these sweets are made in New Zealand – all products are gluten and GM free.
